Terms and Conditions

Welcome to JDH Roofing (also registered and trading as JDH Roofing Ltd). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (https://jdhroofing.co.uk) and the roofing services we provide across West Yorkshire. By requesting a quote or instructing us to commence work, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Quotations and Estimates

• All initial roof inspections and written quotations are provided free of charge and with no obligation.
• Written quotations remain valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue. After this period, we reserve the right to amend the pricing based on material cost fluctuations.
• Any unforeseen structural issues discovered after the commencement of work (e.g., rotten roof timbers) that were not visible during the initial survey will be discussed with the client, and a revised quotation for the additional work will be provided before proceeding.

2. Payment Terms

• For larger projects (such as full roof replacements or major flat roof installations), a deposit may be required to cover the cost of bespoke materials and scaffolding prior to the start date. This will be clearly stated in your quotation.
• Final payment is due in full upon satisfactory completion of the work and receipt of the final invoice.
• We accept payments via Bank Transfer (BACS), Cash, or agreed digital payment methods.

3. Workmanship Guarantee

At JDH Roofing Ltd, we take pride in our City & Guilds qualified craftsmanship. We provide written guarantees for our roofing services, which vary depending on the materials used (e.g., GRP Fibreglass, Liquid Roofing, New Slate Roofs). The exact duration of your guarantee will be outlined in your contract and issued upon final payment.

4. Liability and Insurance

We hold comprehensive Public Liability Insurance to protect your property and our staff while work is being carried out. However, JDH Roofing Ltd cannot be held liable for any pre-existing structural defects or internal water damage that occurred prior to our emergency make-safe interventions or repairs.

5. Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your scheduled roofing work. However, if scaffolding has already been erected or bespoke materials ordered and delivered to your property, you will be liable for these specific costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
